Back-To-Back Races in USA & Mexico with F1® Experiences

Back-to-back race weekends at the Circuit of the Americas and Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the United States and Mexico Grand Prix's respectively saw F1® Experiences make memories that will last a lifetime with clients, and on-track the delivery of a fourth world title for Mercedes’ man Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton, World Champion

Hamilton podium, Austin 2017.jpgComing off a fourth win in as many years in Austin, the permutations heading to Mexico City were simple; a fifth-place finish or higher for Hamilton OR title rival Sebastian Vettel failing to finish in the top two would see the Brit crowned world champion.

In the end, a chaotic opening lap put paid to Vettel’s hopes, with the German only managing a fourth-place finish, handing the title to Hamilton.

For F1 Experiences, two race weekends in a row brought race fans closer to the action than ever before. Providing our guests with unprecedented access that included meet-and-greets with some of the biggest names from the world of F1 including Juan Pablo Montoya, Alain Prost, Romain Grosjean, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, it was an experience to remember.

In-Depth Perspective

“The experience provided a much more in-depth perspective of the entire operation and gives one a greater appreciation for the complexities of F1 from the set-up through to the tear down.” – E.J.

Indeed, the complexities of putting a Grand Prix weekend together stretch far greater and wider than a post-race celebratory Champagne sprays, as we walked clients through our Insider Access to the F1® Paddock.

Taking in team garages, media room and cool-down areas with FOM Manager Christian Pollhammer, the illustrious F1® Paddock where team motorhomes preside, Pirelli tire center, a breakdown of the Safety Car with driver Bernd Mayländer and the famed podium, F1 Experiences gives a unique insight into the world of Formula 1.

Our Drive the Track Tour, led by former Supercar driver and Paddock Club manager Sam Power, allowed guests to feel each turn and undulation on both COTA and the Autódromo, and some star spotting along the way as drivers and team members walked the track.

Exclusive to F1® Experiences, taking in a pit lane walk allowed an up-close, unobstructed view of team personnel and garages, access to which is unavailable to the public.

“I have been to many F1 races like F1 Shanghai, Monaco and Montreal over the years, but I will never do it on my own again.” – C.P.
