Your trackside guide to the 2019 French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard, including the full on-track schedule.
Head to the F1 Fanzone at Circuit Paul Ricard, which is situated behind the Main Grandstand (Ligne de Départ) on the start-finish straight, for merchandise, interactive displays and more. You’ll be able to take part in various competitions, including eSports and an F1 Pitstop challenge. Other trackside attractions include Village Sud, a replica of a French regional village (next to the F1 Fanzone), Xtrem Park (near the Le Beausset corner), with karting, mini quads, zipline and other extreme sports, and a funfair next to the chicane with various rides.
The organizers have signed up several big-name French DJs for the trackside concerts at the 2019 French Grand Prix, which take place on a stage between the Chicane and Sainte Baume:
- Friday, June 21: DJs du Mistral (19:00-21:00)
- Saturday, June 22: Bob Sinclair (19:00-20:30)
- Sunday, June 23: Martin Solveig (17:30-19:00)
The Formula 1 action at Circuit Paul Ricard includes two 90-minute practice sessions on Friday, a third 60-minute practice session and qualifying on Saturday followed by the main event on Sunday from 15:10.
The busy weekend schedule also features practice, qualifying and two races apiece from three support categories; FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3 and the Renault Clio Cup. The Formula 2 and Formula 3 races, which are full of talented young drivers competing in identical machinery, are definitely worth watching.
